Basic Policy for Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information

The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI) respects the value of information and constantly manages and protects information in a thorough manner. Similarly, for specific personal information, JSAI fully recognizes the importance of management and protection that respects its value, and prescribes a basic policy to address the security of proper handling of specific personal information as an organization.

   JSAI complies with the “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures,” the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information,”the “Guidelines for Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information,” and other related laws and regulations, and properly handles specific personal information.
3. Matters related to measures for safe management
   With regard to measures for safe management of specific personal information, JSAI separately prescribes the “Regulations for Handling of Specific Personal Information,” and takes sufficient measures to ensure proper handling.
