“Annual Conference of JSAI” is the main conference of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI), which is held annually. In which major AI researchers (mainly from Japan) present their researches (mainly in Japanese).

The 27th Annual Conference of JSAI (JSAI2013) will be held from 4th June 2013 to 7th June 2013 in Toyama International Conference Center, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. (City information: http://www.info-toyama.com/english/index.html)

Following the success at JSAI2012, in this year’s JSAI we will have “international organized sessions.” An organized session is a type of an invited session for which researchers organize a session with very novel or advanced theme and collect excellent papers. “International” means that presenters will be coming from all over the world, presentations will be performed in English, and papers will be written in English. Of course organizers will be able to call and invite speakers in their session.

Please note that JSAI does not reserve any rooms at the above-mentioned hotels for the participants. Therefore, please make any necessary hotel reservations on your own.

Hotels get booked up very quickly as the conference date approaches. Therefore, it is advisable to make your reservations directly with the hotels at your earliest.

IOS-1: Cognitive Training and Assistive Technology for Aging

Aims

This session deals with cognitive training and assistive technology for aging, which is necessary in the modern and future society. Such technology is based on cognitive model of human and its aging. Like artificial heart replace human heart, artificial intelligence may partially replace or support human intelligence. The proposed session has been started as a near future challenge session since 2007, which survived for 5 years and graduated in 2012. From 2013, we would like to propose international organized session in order to grow the network from nationwide to worldwide.
