Small and medium-sized technology-based companies often concentrate on developing their own technologies, but are not good at developing them into new businesses. In this paper, author will introduce the technology deployment map as a frame for considering the development of new businesses from the company's own technology. Based on the composition of technologies, functions, and products that are woven into the frame, it is shown that recombining the variables in each composition could have the effect of generating new ideas and insights.
