To the Uncharted Realm of "Literature"
- iwLCC2001 (The Second International Workshop on the Literature in
Cognitive and Computer Organized by the SIG-LCC, JCSS)

テーマ：文学（芸術）の創造

趣旨：

　文学（芸術）を創り出す行為は、これまで「創造性」あるいは「インスピレー
　ション」のブラックボックスに入れられ、ほとんど研究の対象になることはな
　かった。これは、従来の文学研究が「完成された」テクストの分析を中心に成
　り立ってきたことによる。テクストの芸術性を検討する文学研究においては、
　完成されたテクストに研究対象を限定するのは当然のことであろう。しかし、
　「文学と認知、コンピュータ」分科会（LCC）では、文学の解釈だけでなく創
　造過程も含めた、文学という営みの全体のモデルを構築することを目指してい
　る。これまでの分科会の研究や議論をふまえた上で、「文学」と「認知」、
　「コンピュータ」の交錯する文学研究の新たな境地へと踏み出す第１歩として、
　このシンポジウムを位置づけたい。
　
　文学創造のモデルや認知的、哲学的、計算論的考察だけでなく、「文学と認知、
　コンピュータ」に関する研究動向を振り返ったり、現在の研究を紹介したり、
　今後の展望を予測したりするような論文の投稿も歓迎します。

Iccs2001 公式 Proceedings への掲載はすでに締め切っていますが、今後採択された論文は、すべてLCC 独自で作成するProceedings に掲載されます。

CALL FOR PAPERS(revised) 

  The conference invites oral and poster presentations of research in cognition, broadly defined. Contributions are welcome from, but not limited to, cognitive psychology, artificial intelligence, cognitive neuroscience, linguistics, philosophy, cognitive anthropology, social cognition, and comparative cognition. English will be the official working language of the conference. All submissions and presentations will be in English. The style and format of the typescripts should conform to the specifications given in the "Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association"(http://www.apa.org/books/4200040.html). If this book is hardly available to you, you may take any articles published in an APA journal (e.g., "Psychological Review", "Psychological Bulletin", the "J. Experimental Psychology" family, etc.) as template. The maximum length of a full paper is 5 pages (B5 or Letter size, including figures, tables and references), with font-size of at least 12 pt. For poster presentation, please submit a one-page abstract.
