Call for Workshop Proposals
collocated with
22nd National Meeting of Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence
(JSAI2008)

Committee of JSAI2008 is pleased to announce the call for proposals of international workshops
which will be co-located with JSAI2008:
the 22nd National Meeting of The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence.

The workshop date will be June, 9 (Mon) and/or 10 (Tue), 2008 (one day or two days).
The workshop site will be ASAHIKAWA CONVENTION BUREAU, Hokkaido, Japan.

There are several advantages for holding a workshop with JSAI2008.

• We are negotiating with Springer about the publication of post-proceedngs
  for selected papers as Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) as the previous treatments in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
• The registration fee for the workshop is 5,000 yen (about $43).
  The registration to the main conference is not mandatory.
• The organizing committee will print workshop notes and prepare a conference room with basic equipments.

The proposal should be a call for participation (CFP) draft of workshop including the following information.

• Title of workshop
• Name(s) of workshop chair(s)
• Scope of workshop
• Deadlines of first paper submission and camera ready submission
• Contact address

Followings are the guideline for workshop proposals.

• Deadline of first paper submission: March, 28, 2008
• Deadline of camera ready submission: April, 25, 2008
• Workshop date: June, 9 and/or 10, 2008 (Monday, Tuesday)
• Workshop site: ASAHIKAWA CONVENTION BUREAU (http://www.asahikawa-cb.gr.jp/)
• One day or two days workshop
